Who's behind Catalyst?
Tia Glave and Jill Stuber partnered to create Catalyst in 2021. They believe world-class food safety and quality cultures have leaders with strong technical food safety & quality skills, strong people skills, and leaders who can integrate both into their organization. Catalyst sparks transformation in these areas and provides a roadmap for food manufacturers and retail organizations to build sustainable food safety cultures.
Coaching and making a positive difference for others in FSQ is Jill’s ‘WHY’. She just happens to be a food safety professional too!
Jill Stuber is a true professional having served on Food Safety & Quality (FSQ) Teams for several multi-million-dollar food companies and food industry support companies - at both corporate levels and front-line facility levels. She has defined expectations and programs for company-wide FSQ systems and has been responsible for verifying the implementation of those systems. Jill has led multi-plant teams with up to 50 team members to clearly define team and individual roles, expectations, and boundaries to more fully integrate and collaborate across organizations.
Jill holds a number of degrees including Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Food Science, from the University of Wisconsin, River Falls and Madison, respectively; as well as a Master of Science degree in Quality Management from Eastern Michigan University. She is a professional coach certified through Learning Journeys - an accredited program through the International Coaching Federation, HACCP Certified, PCQI Certified, an SQF Practitioner, an Institute of Food Technology (IFT) Certified Food Scientist, a Lean Facilitator, and a Six Sigma Black Belt.
Jill is an active member of International Association for Food Protection, serving as the Developing Food Safety Professional's Professional Development Group Vice Chair.
When not knee high in food safety and quality, you'll find Jill at a hockey rink, baseball field, reading, laughing at quirky sitcoms, or taking a stroll in nature. Jill believes nothing is more important than feeding the soul.
